Why I Want an iPad
February 3, 2010
I’m just looking at it for what it DOES offer. Some people, mostly Apple haters, are coming up with all kinds of ways it fails.
I’ll love it because it’s a very portable, easy to hold content device! I can sit in a chair or in bed and have a device that’s easy to hold and watch movies, email, surf the web, tweet and other social things like FB. Also do blog updates! It offers all of the things, besides graphics work, that I spend most of my time on the computer for but allows me to get away from the desk or holding a awkward laptop and let’s me get comfortable!
Yeah I don’t think it’s going to change everything but it has potential to bring a lot more media content to a easy to hold and portable device that’s easy to use and read on with color.
Movies, video blogs and normal, magazines, books, training content, how to video content, educational content (text books), email that’s easy to use and organize away from a computer, all the social media, music medical records for Dr’s offices and hospitals and more. Also controlling automated home devices and probably other remote control devices and the remotes can be user configurable to your prefs.
Anyways I see a lot of potential and Apples pretty good at doing deals and making things happen.
Pictures of Photoshop Editing of Airplane Cockpit for 360 Pano
February 2, 2010
Here are a couple of iPhone shots of my workspace while I was working on 360 panoramic shots of a biplanes cockpit. See post before this one. Just thought I would post this for those interested in graphic design and photography. I sometimes find things like this inspirational.
We are going back in a few days to shoot another and possibly other normal photography shots.
Stay tuned because I might have some exciting news on this project in the future! Also when the 360′s are done and up on the sites I will post links.
To see some of our other high quality 360 panoramics click here. We will be adding more of our high quality 360 panoramics for your viewing soon!
Could This Be Hint Of Things To Come On iPhone?

AT&T data detail filter options
This may be nothing but I don’t recall seeing all of these choices before on my AT&T iPhone account area? Does anyone else know if they have always been there? The view filter choices just seemed interesting to me.
Could it have to do with planned iPhone video calling, multimedia messaging, and video exchange? Maybe these are choices that have been there all along but I just don’t recall seeing them.

AT&T to Add Rural Mobile Coverage
July 2, 2007
AT&T has announced a deal to acquire Dobson Communications which owns Cellular One. Cellular One has a large rural network in many states. Maybe I will have an iPhone in my future?
Read more from my source MacRumors.com. They have linked to the AT&T announcement also so it’s not just a rumor.
Here’s a link to a Cellular One coverage map for MI. If you look at all of the areas together and AT&T’s exsisting coverage MI should be pretty well covered. My BIG question is, is there a National plan for the iPhone?

Click here for coverage on Monday, June 11tth. I think the time is 1pm EDT (Michigan time).
My Most Anticipated Apple Leopard OS X Features

Spaces
Spaces – Organization at last! I can’t wait for this feature. At laest if I can’t keep my desktop totally clean I won’t have as much on it and what is on it will all be relevant to what I am doing there.
Collaboration using iChat
You can share displays using iChat in Leopard.
Time Machine
Time Machine will help to ease my anxiety about losing something important. Looks like I’ll be buying another hard drive.
